Alex Dilling is an acclaimed two Michelin star chef, internationally recognised for his refined and contemporary approach to French gastronomy. Known for his uncompromising pursuit of perfection, Alex brings decades of culinary expertise to the heart of London at Hotel Café Royal, one of the city’s most prestigious luxury destinations.

His restaurant offers an intimate and elegant dining experience, where every dish reflects a deep respect for technique, seasonality, and artistry. Beyond the plate, the restaurant embodies modern European sophistication — a harmonious blend of exceptional service, architectural beauty, and culinary storytelling.

Brief

Alex Dilling required a complete digital redesign to elevate his online presence and mirror the prestige of his two Michelin star restaurant at Hotel Café Royal. The existing website lacked the elegance, structure, and functionality expected of a world-class fine dining establishment. The new platform needed to capture the essence of the restaurant’s atmosphere, communicate its story, and provide guests with an effortless way to explore and book their experience.

Beyond the visual transformation, the project aimed to build a future-proof and flexible content platform. This included creating a strong foundation for seasonal updates, press features, event promotions, and storytelling — while maintaining the refined aesthetic of the brand.
